CENTRAL LIBRARY Hamon Oil and Gas Resource Center / Business and Technology Resource Core                              Dallas, TX

The 12,000 sq. ft. Business and Technology Enhancement project for the J Erik Jonsson Central Library was in part funded by a permanent endowment from Mrs. Nancy Hamon in honor of her husband Jake L. Hamon for the creation of a state-of- the- art business research facility with historical displays, computer work stations, enhanced collections and resources, and 1,200 sq. ft. multipurpose training room.  The space features curved metal ceiling panels, sculpted drywall feature walls with illuminated displays, and hardwood veneer resource desk and casegoods.  The laminated, etched and leafed art glass panel was created John Morrison of Cornerstone Glassworks, and art panels in the elevator lobby are by Dallas artist Broose (Dickenson).
